STORA ENSO VEITSILUOTO MILL ORDERS ANDI® SYSTEM THEIR PM3 LINE
SESCA DELIVERS AN ANDI® PROCESS ANALYSIS AND DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM TO THE PM3 PRODUCTION LINE AT STORA ENSO VEITSILUOTO MILL
Sesca Solutions delivers an ANDI® Process Analysis and Diagnostics system to the Stora Enso Veitsiluoto Mill to cover the whole PM3 production line. The system will be commissioned in April 2008.
The ANDI® system helps to detect production bottlenecks and speeds up defect analysis and correction in case of potential machine and equipment malfunctions.
The system delivery will cover the production and control data collection system and the related monitoring and event reporting application for the PM3 slitter, as well as the data collection from the PM3 DCS roll handling and conveyor control systems.
As a brand-independent supplier we can offer our customers a single monitoring solution to the systems of different machinery and equipment suppliers, as well as to the monitoring and reporting of performance and condition, says Jari Keränen, Business Manager at Sesca Solutions Ltd.
The ANDI® makes the PLC-based control systems data visible to the production and maintenance personnel in real time.
At the same time, the paper machines process and machine control data is collected from the DCS to a history database. This gives the possibility of a longer process/machine history view, and it also enables ANDI Analyzing Module add-ons for the paper machine.
The ANDI® delivery to Veitsiluoto is the second delivery to Stora Enso within a short period of time, Keränen continues.
