SESCA GROUP EXPANDS TO TORNIO IN NORTHERN FINLAND
Sesca Group has acquired Tiltek Oy operating in Tornio. By this acquisition Sesca increases its appearance in Northern Finland and also in Northern Sweden. Through the acquisition, Sesca strengthens its supply of services within the industry area of metal and mining.
Sesca Group has acquired all of the Tornio-based Tiltek Oy’s stock of shares. The acquisition was a natural way in realizing Sesca’s strategy of expanding in the Northern Scandinavia and at the same time strengthen its supply of services within the business of metal and mining. Through the acquisition Sesca is able to extended knowledge in industrial automation, electrical drives technique and HVAC contracting (Heat, Ventilation and Air Conditioning).
“Tiltek will take the responsibility of all services of Sesca Group in the region as well as towards their own key customers. At the same time we can embed Tiltek’s strong brand knowledge into our own projects. A new trend in the industry area is brand specific engineering and service companies. I believe, that Sesca’s broad knowledge of ICT and industrial automation together with Tiltek’s sturdy experience in their own specialty areas and component sourcing, will strengthen our capability towards both current and new customers in the Northern regions of Finland and Sweden”, says Kaj Tuominen, President, Sesca Solutions Division.
