SESCA MODERNIZES THE LINE DRIVES OF ZINC COATING LINE No 2 IN RAUTARUUKKI WORKS IN HÄMEENLINNA.
Sesca Solutions has been chosen to modernize the drives of the zinc coating line No 2 in Rautaruukkis production unit in Hämeenlinna. The delivery will take place in May-June 2008 and the line will be commissioned after the modernization in July 2008.
The modernization includes the line and single drives as well as their control systems. The delivery consists of altogether 35 drives for the line drive system and 10 single drives. The existing line drives from the 1980s will be replaced. The modernization will take place in May-June and commissioned in July 2008.
"During 2006 and 2007 the uptime of the drives and their control systems have been decreased considerably. The lines uptime can now be raised to a desired level and we can improve the customer delivery reliability. The solution and professional resources by Sesca met best the presented challenges for maintenance", states Heikki Nisula, maintenance manager of Ruukki works in Hämeenlinna.
